This post is about the basic shift that occurs when somebody starts to become successful. What it appears to involve is a change from a kind of passive, fumbling, inertial type of activity to one in which someone actually begins to control, decide, and build success in a much more purposeful way. Funny as it seems, this appears to be about all there is to it.
You will recall that I have said that success is basically guaranteed and inevitable and that this is what this blog is all about [see the about page and previous post for more on this]. The fundamental idea here is that energy itself is success. It finds success naturally and becomes success spontaneously as long as it is not interrupted in this process.
The thing we need to be clear on here is that since the above is the case, anything that thinks or acts in terms of limited success is basically a kind of interruption. The full, natural, creative type of activity is interrupted with a lower more robotic sort. This activity type is indeed active, and even necessary in a sense for meeting sort term goals, but it runs more by inertia than by the primary drive to build and create what you really can and want to. The decision to engage in this lower sort of activity seems reasonable because it bases on apparently actual needs - to pay the rent, to eat, and so on. This is, in fact, the common complaint and the "reason" why people can't seem to get started with much larger creative projects, be they entrepreneurial or otherwise. They are too busy with "important trivia" like this. We need to look closer at what is going on here.
It is as though there are two fundamental kinds of activity and people become confused about them. One is characterized by an emphasis on mostly passive or creatively dull mind sets, energy flows, and activity patterns. Even though it is active in the sense of being simple energy usage or doing it is passive or unenterprising in some basic intention or conception of what activity is. In such a mind set the individual basically does things out of habit, out of anxiety, and in general without much real control and mastery. The basic thought is of limit and of doing things because you have to, not because you want to. Also doing things without much creativity of a fundamental sort. These mind sets or energy states mostly use handed down thought and approaches and are troubled by any number of other neurotic or negativized energy patterns. There seems to need to be a kind of shift or breaking away from this whole pattern and structure of activity toward one which is much more purposeful, creative, and active in the true sense. This shift allows the success process to naturally gain momentum and begin to occur.
The success modality of energy is the real one, the natural one, and what I mean when I say energy. The real individual is capable of incredible levels of success. The real individual is energy. The real mind or consciousness, when allowed to be creative and not shackled or hindered or interrupted by lower states and habits, solves problems brilliantly.
This, as one can see, has to do not with activity per se, but with the overall goal of activity. Even the humblest drudgery (for instance working for a minimum wage job) can be used either as one element in a big creative plan and strategy for success or as that lower sort of activity - activity of a dull, habitual, and "the-bare-minimum-to survive" sort. Thus the important thing to realize is that there is this overall approach or motivating sense that imbues any activity with a certain type of focus. Confusion seems to result because people think to themselves: "well I'm working hard at my job [or at starting a business or some other routine sort of effort they make], why am I not more successful?" The answer is in the difference between this basic awareness of their own creativity and self determinism as opposed to a sense of activity and success levels determined by others. You see the distinction?
The shift is to this other kind of focus. This creative focus. The greater RESPONSIBILITY for your creativity and success. This is a kind of awakening to the fact of the real nature of energy and your potential. You have the ability to be much more active in your own success than you may have suspected. This, however, also has a spontaneous quality because energy always does succeed. BUT THIS IS FACILITATED BY RECOGNIZING THE REAL NATURE IF YOUR IDENTITY AS ENERGY WITH MIRACULOUS ABILITY.
I will say more about the qualities of this shift in subsequent posts. Right now I just want to introduce it and give you a sense of discernment as to which is which. Activity is activity, and there is no exact dividing line between poorly and well motivated activity, but nevertheless there is a world of difference between activity that is motivated by this awakened shift in potential and that which is habitual, limited, secondhand, and conditioned. Give this some thought.
This blog deals with a radical new understanding of what success is and how to attain it.

The process of changing your entire mindset about success is an interesting one. It essentially involves finding out about all the ways that your mind sabotages success. These are all that is making success of the type you want difficult for you. Remove them and success happens naturally.
Basically the way this works is that the continuation of energy always produces success. However, the ordinary condition of most people's consciousness is more or less attuned to an interpretation of reality in which success and failure both seem like valid and equal options. By the standard reasoning, you may succeed or you may fail, and which one occurs depends on your efforts and some degree of luck.
This is an error prone type of understanding. The important thing to realize is that this understanding itself leads the consciousness to erroneously create failure, since it gives reality to both options.
The way awareness gives reality to the failure option, indeed to only way it can, is by stopping the success process. it does this by the common means of quitting and giving up. These are totally erroneous responses and have no rational basis whatsoever. This is the point that it is important to grasp.
Another way of looking at this is in terms of attention. This concept is getting more and more readily recognized and popularized these days. The attention creates, finds, aligns, or energizes what it is focused on. The way this one fallacious "failure" action occurs is by the attention being taken off a certain goal and put on other items.
This is actually fine. Attention can do whatever it wants. An individual however needs to realize how this works. putting attention back on a success goal reenergizes the success process and it continues. But if someone is under the impression that failure is real, then they will interpret the shifting of attention as failure and actually put their attention on the concept of failure, energizing it. Nothing could be more absurd. But consciousness does this anyway under the influence of wrong understanding and the general hustle and bustle of life.
Once you see how laughable this is you will never do it again. It is an extremely simple error and is thus equally easily changed.
